Customers who sell a Sandro item they no longer wear receive a prepaid shipping label. This allows them to send their items free of charge directly to the French textile reconditioning specialist we work with.

Authentication, cleaning, quality control, storage, shipping, and returns of Sandro Second-Hand items are all carried out on site.

After the items have been verified and authenticated by our specialists, customers receive a voucher to use on Sandro Second-Hand, in our physical stores, or on our website sandro-paris.com.

All received items are sorted according to the type of cleaning they require. The cleaning method depends on the characteristics of the garment, such as its material, presence of embellishments, color, etc.

Based on these criteria, items are either cleaned directly by the specialist or sent to the dry cleaner. Delicate items are cleaned in separate bags to preserve the quality of the fabric.

For cleaning, the specialist uses ECOLAB products certified REACH (fully compliant with current regulations and legislation), produced at the Chalons-en-Champagne site, and ISO certified (standard applied to environmental management systems).

Depending on the specifics of each item, they are either machine-dried or air-dried on hangers.

Cleaned and dry items are then ironed, and our experts carry out a thorough quality control, which includes, among other things: a detailed assessment of the item’s overall condition and fabric quality, checking that all buttons are present and in good condition, inspecting the inside of pockets, seams, and more.

Designed to last, the majority of the items we receive are in excellent or very good condition.

However, when necessary, some items may be sent for repairs to ensure that only items of impeccable quality are offered on Sandro Second-Hand.

Our experts carry out minor repairs, such as reinforcing buttons, sewing back labels, repairing invisible stitches, and more.
